Psychonauts

Ages ago, mankind had fled the terminally polluted Earth to seek out new homes on giant orbiting cities in space. Despite bans on breeding and capital punishments for all crimes, the populations had risen to over twice the rated capacity of the space cities. Computer projections confirmed the truth: social breakdown was imminent, with utter destruction to follow.

The only chance for survival seemed to lie in resettling Earth. To see if this was even a possibility, six astronauts were chosen to journey back to the planet. Rod Kaine, the leader, was a telekine—he had the ability to move objects with his mind. Suzanne Quentain (“Tsuzi Q.”) was a spoiled rich girl, as well as a pyrokinetic. Ojin Hyaku was a nanotechnology-enhanced samurai. Rounding off the crew were outcast Angel Marcus, empathic Ken Ramada, and Nymm, a teleporter. Unwilling travelers on a suicide mission, they deemed themselves the “Psychonauts.”
