Wild Life (Antarctic)
(Antarctic, 1993-1995)
™ and © Antarctic Press
The title Wild Life refers to the fact that the main characters in this black-and-white series from Antarctic Press are animals who walk upright, speak, and engage in a number of everyday and not-so-everyday human activities. The emphasis here seems to be on sexuality as the covers are graced with leather-and/or bikini-clad…um…ladies, typically of a feline nature, called the Sophistikats. These shapely kitties also turn up as pinup girls throughout the issues.
