This anthology combines twist endings with ecological and existential themes in four short stories and an illustrated poem.

A hibernating astronaut makes a sad discovery when the planet’s inhabitants wake him after 3,000 years and an alien observer tries to spread the word of peace among the Earthlings, with disastrous results. Also, a hunter in search of better game on a distant world find the tables cruelly reversed and a car crash takes a family to their final odd reward.

The book was created by underground cartoonist George Metzger, who was known for his fantasy works such as The Doll House, along with Rick Shubb and Robert Inwood.
