In the universe created by Don Hudson, international governments sold out to international corporations, which used their collective might to create a society where crime and hunger have been virtually eliminated, and everyone has a job. But one catch—try to quit before the corporation is willing to see you go, and they’ll send a bounty hunter to hunt you down.

Amber 12, bubbly, dangerous, and with a wardrobe of bikinis and body armor, is a bounty hunter for the First World Corporation. When a high-ranking scientist vanishes from the company dole, Amber is sent to fetch him. But when things go awry and the company turns on her as well, she’s on the run and out for revenge.

The first Amber series from Image, filled with detailed and expertly rendered black-and-white art and nuanced characterizations, ran four issues. More are in the works.
