Cops: The Job

    (Marvel, 1992)
™ and ©1992 Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc.

This series tries to show what police work is really all about: from tracking down psychotic murderers and investigating the overprivileged, to the more mundane struggles with paperwork and internal politics.

Set in New York City, the stories focus on Maureen Donnegan, a second-generation police officer disliked by most of the others on the force; her heroic partner, Nicholas Caruso; Paddy, her mentor and friend; and corrupt officers Heinzucker and Dooley; as well the reporters, prostitutes, and other characters that police run into every day.
