The Amanda Show
(Tokyopop, 2005)
™ and © 2005 Viacom
Amanda Bynes got her start at age 10 in the Laugh Factory comedy club, moving from there to the sketch comedy on television with the show All That and later, in 1999, to Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show which is where the pictures for this book originate. With the flair of Lucile Ball and the comedy sketch talents of Carol Brunette, Amanda has been the linking anchor for a very popular kids comedy show featuring such characters as Mother Caboose, Judge Trudy, and even her own number one fan—Penelope Taynt. Tokyopop has taken some favorite scenes and pasted them together in a full color photo-book that is a must have for Amanda fans.
Amanda Bynes has gone on to other projects such as television’s What I Like About You and a film career, but books such as this will give fans of her early days something to read about and remember fondly.
