Sex & Death is a 1995 comic anthology series based upon the twin themes of sex and death. The stories contained in each issue are not so much pornographic, as the title might imply, as much as they are extremely surrealistic in nature. Granted, the occasional breast pokes its way into a panel or two, but graphic sexual scenes are kept to a minimum.

The series debut includes six different tales. The first, “Pwdre Ser,” tells the story of a terribly fat giant who has continually ravaged a small village of its food over hundreds of years. This comes to an abrupt halt when the town genetically creates its own protector…

The series premiered in 1995 and contained some fine work by industry pros including John Bolton (Black Dragon) and Mike Deodato Jr. (Incredible Hulk, Prime Cuts).
