After witnessing his parents’ murder by a ferocious werewolf, Bruce Wayne dedicates his life to avenging their deaths. Wait. Is something wrong with that? Well, this is a four-part Elseworlds story so…not really. Batman: Haunted Gotham takes place in a reality in which the supernatural is a part of the order of things. Still, there is evil in Gotham City, and Bruce Wayne has a destiny as the Batman to fulfill. This limited series is from writer Doug Moench and artist Kelley Jones, the team behind Batman/Dracula: Red Rain, and finds the Dark Knight trying to stop perpetually grinning mad scientist from overrunning his turf with murderous zombies. Ooooo…the stuff of nightmares!
