The future is violent. People are tough and misshapen. But even the worst can have a little bit of happiness with a genuine de Ville bio-mechanical doll—life sized androids capable of fulfilling your every fantasy and available on a weekly rental basis.

Leo Kaminsky used to be a lonely guy until he rented Candy and then his life was complete. But love is a fickle thing, especially when you get behind on your payments. De Ville's men turned Candy off, so Leo turned them off and the bodies were never found. Then he focused on turning off the de Ville empire.

Love hurts.
