Stephanie McFarland seemed to be a normal seventeen-year-old teenager. She did well in school, never got sick, and had what seemed to be a normal and well-adjusted family. That all changed the day she learned her father’s secret. It seems her father used to be the Defender, the last of the world’s super-heroes. Retiring his costume to raise a family, he had no idea his little girl would someday decide to follow in his footsteps. Realizing that she had inherited some powers of her own, Stephanie creates her own super-hero identity, Skye Blue. Intent on giving the world a new champion of justice, Stephanie decides to test herself by solving the one case her father never did, discovering the actual fate of the Defender’s archenemy, the murderous Clownface. She will soon learn, however, that it takes more than powers and a costume to truly make a super-hero.
