Zatanna Special

Zatanna’s mother, Sindella, was a member of the race Homo Magi—humans with a genetic ability for magic. The Homo Magi lived apart from humans in a secret city protected by magic. Her father, Zatara, was a magician—a real magician—who somehow managed to enter that city, where he met and fell in love with Sindella. He took her from her city into his world, and a year later Zatanna was born. Tragically, it was only six months after Zatanna’s birth that Zatara and Sindella died in a car crash.

Or did they? Now grown, Zatanna is working as a stage magician, hiding her own magical abilities. One day, she begins receiving premonitions that her mother is calling her from beyond the grave. After a series of unexplained magical occurrences, she decides she must find out for sure.
