In the late 1990’s, Marvel rejuvenated several of their old titles like The Avengers and The Inhumans, and (even though they called it Volume 1 the second time around) Marvel Team-Up. Like the original, this title would bring together all sorts of super-heroes to fight crime.

The debut issue shows how this series combines the old and the new. Classic Marvel hero Spider-Man and the relatively new mutant team Generation X join forces to solve the mystery of a master criminal who gives away a truckload of money. Naturally, it’s too good to be true, and it’s up to our Mighty Marvel crew to find out what the villain really plans and how to stop it.
