Kelly is the beautiful but incredibly stupid daughter in the Bundy family. She’s also just a little bit loose with the boys, falling instantly for any motorcycle-riding punk who comes her way. Her only other real vice is that she lives to torture her considerably smarter, but far less sexy younger brother, Bud.

With any other series but television’s Married…With Children, Kelly’s combination of sleaziness and stupidity would not exactly make for star material. But in the wacky, dysfunctional world of the Bundys, that’s exactly what she turned into. At least part of the appeal lies in actress Christina Applegate, who plays the role with a ditzy vampishness that’s hilariously over-the-top. Her antics (and those of the rest of the Bundy family) translate very well to comic book form, making this three-issue Married…With Children: Kelly Bundy special one of the funnier comics around.
