Dell Giants

These are the only issues associated with the Dell Giants series; others may bear the label Dell Giant, but without numbers and are to be found under their individual titles.

Dell Giants was a total umbrella title for a series of “giant-sized” editions featuring book length stories featuring characters that regularly appeared in 36 page Dell series. The 100-page editions were considered very special and usually featured a popular character like Bugs Bunny or Donald Duck “on vacation” or “at Christmas.” Most of these titles are listed elsewhere in ComicBase under their specific title name, but the overall series is collected here. Later on, Dell and eventually Gold Key abandoned this “special” designation and put the giants in with the regular numbering.
