Tribe is set amid the hip urban culture of Brooklyn. In the midst of the culture of club openings, back-alley boxing matches, and underground business deals, a group called Europan has decided to make its move. This international corporation makes its living by controlling sources of breakthrough technology, and its latest acquisitions bring it to Brooklyn.

Against them is Ellison Murdock—Blindspot—who uses Europan’s own “stealth” technology to fight them. Joining him is a colorful group of individuals, codenamed Shift, Hannibal, the Front, Steel Pulse, Fly Girl, Short Order, and Out Cold. Together they fight back against Europan’s web of political and underworld connections.

Tribe’s creative team and their original publisher, Image Comics, had a falling out after the first issue. A second and third issue of Tribe were published by Axis Comics.
