Seven Soldiers is writer Grant Morrison’s (Animal Man) captivating thirty-part saga of an apocalyptic threat that has already wiped the floor with one set of Seven Soldiers that were called upon by the Seven Unknown Men, so a new team must be assembled.

Mister Miracle—aka escape artist Shilo Norman, not Scott Free of the New Gods—will be one of their new agents, and this limited series finds the twenty-something entertainer dealing with a bit of an identity crisis: he’s rich and famous, but his life feels empty. Should he be content with all he has, or should he be out there, stemming the dark tide of evil that’s poised to inundate the world? The answer’s probably fairly clear, but it’s the journey of the character that’s important here—and Mister Miracle’s heading down a pretty dark and rocky road. And, hey, it’s Grant Morrison, so you know it’s going to be a fun ride.
