In the “perfect society” of North Am in 4000 A.D., humans have become dependent on robots for most work. Most robots are just that—robots—but a few developed minds of their own and seek to liberate all robots from enslavement by annihilating humanity.

Coddled by robots for most of their lives, humans are easy victims, so it falls upon the shoulders of one chosen savior to fight the renegade robots. Magnus has been trained his entire life for this battle. The renegade robots, called “freewills,” are quick to take advantage of Magnus’ human mind and constantly throw psychological curves his way, when they’re not busy trying to rip him to shreds. This Valiant version of the Gold Key series is a fast-paced adventure, set in a future in which man’s technology has turned against him.
