Saxon’s Second-Hand Books

    (Mad Robot, 2021)

Donald Arthur Saxon operates a second-hand bookshop in an "up and coming" area of London in the 1870s. He doesn't sell many books, but he has a nice sideline solving supernatural mysteries. Thanks to a secret he is keeping, he has an unmatched insight into the paranormal. Having investigated a haunting at her home, Saxon teams up with Charlotte Thompson, a young widow with an appetite for danger. She brings to his attention information regarding an increasing amount of mysterious events around the city. They realise the events are all linked by an occult symbol and each event is more deadly than the last.
