Pinhead seems an unlikely character to star in his own series. He was popularized in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser, a blood-soaked horror movie. Pinhead was the most visually distinct of the Cenobytes, otherworldly creatures who seemed to worship pain itself. Pinhead seems to prove this point with the rows of nails, pins, and other painful-looking objects embedded in his own skull.

Fans of gore can find even more of it in this new series. It stars Pinhead and a cast of abominations who fight to preserve order, even in their own hell. For even the damned have goals, and even the abyss must have rules.
