This cyber-Western is a strong series with well-plotted stories and superb art.

Virtex works for the covert Justice Cycle Bureau under Commander Arkiment, and travels the MadLands searching for criminals and outlaws that need to be brought to justice. This masked one-eyed lawman uses any means necessary to seek out and bring in such villains as Victorian-styled killer Ripnun and assorted other conglomerate killers. Armed with pistols and a neuro-whip, and revealing little of his secret past, Virtex rides through the land astride his jet cycle and fights vampires and barbaric killers. Like a sheriff of the future, Virtex protects innocent citizens and oppressed natives.
