A “golden boy” cop who got a bum deal and fell from grace, Raymond Mann—a.k.a. Cosmic Ray—now serves as a flunky for a loan shark named Makintosh. The theft of property belonging to Makintosh gives Ray the opportunity to utilize his formidable detective skills; as with most hard-luck heroes, he gets embroiled in a mystery that’s bigger and more far-reaching than he even thought. Writer/artist Stephen Blue has crafted an excellent detective story that is set near the end of the 21st century and therefore features many of the trappings of a science-fiction tale. Definitely worth a look!
