Jurassic Park (Magazine)

This British magazine reprints American material that faithfully adapts the Steven Spielberg blockbuster “Jurassic Park.“ Through cutting-edge science and good, old-fashioned zookeeper know-how, entrepreneur John Hammond creates a theme park on an island off the coast of Costa Rica where dinosaurs once again roam the earth…under extremely controlled conditions. Unfortunately, these extinct creatures were not meant to be controlled, and things go south pretty quickly after a team of scientists are flown in to give Jurassic Park their blessing. After the movie adaptation ends, the magazine goes on to tell original stories (from the American series).

If you enjoyed “Jurassic Park,“ this comic book adaptation is a nice memento. If you’re a comics fan, the early issues are written by Walt Simonson (Thor, Fantastic Four), drawn by Gil Kane (Green Lantern, The Amazing Spider-Man), and inked by George Perez (Avengers, New Teen Titans, Justice League of America).
