This “Gallery Edition” is a pinup book featuring Matt Hawkins’ Lady Pendragon, as illustrated by a number of artists. It manages to be quite a bit more interesting than the average pinup book due to the inclusion of some very striking pieces, including those by talented newcomer Dorian Cleavenger as well as established painter Joe Jusko. There’s also a bit of costumed photography and photo collage on display—some of it quite interesting. In a world crowded with pinup books of assorted comic book beauties, the use of painting and photography helps to set this special apart from the pack.
