Mr. Day & Mr. Night

    (Slave Labor, 1993)
™ and ©1993 Glenn Dakin & Phil Elliott

Mr. Day is a beloved, celebrated super-hero, and his opposite number is Mr. Night, the self-proclaimed “Enemy of Mankind” who—along with his girlfriend Dusk (also an enemy of mankind)—has moved in with a nerdy everyman named Artie. As Mr. Night commits evil act after evil act—some overt; others, not so much—Mr. Day is nowhere in sight. Mr. Day has been captured by Mr. December because the evil of the world has weakened him, and Mr. Night has come as an example to humanity of their own hate and insincerity. Will the world be destroyed by its own darkness? Will Mr. Night rule the world? Well, time will tell…
