The New Two-Fisted Tales

In the 1950s, EC’s Two-Fisted Tales helped bring a different sensibility to the war comics genre. Concentrating not so much on the “heroic Americans/evil enemies” theme of other comics, it instead showed the horrors of war itself. Although it mixed these themes with tales of the weird and the supernatural, somehow Two-Fisted Tales seemed truer-to-life than most of its contemporaries.

The New Two-Fisted Tales springs from that great tradition. It features new tales of action and adventure for the 1990s, along with classic reprints from the original series.
