Led Edwards is the pilot of a mini-submarine used as a sort of tug-boat, pulling vessels between the two islands making up the mining colony called Independence.

Edwards and his colleagues on the sub, Mark and Lynn, lead normal lives, until the day Independence Colony becomes ground zero for an alien invasion. Suddenly, bombs rain down from the sky, and the populace is being imprisoned.

The crew manages to submerge their vessel. They know they have to fight back or at least figure out what is happening. But what can three people on a mini-submarine do to turn back the alien hordes?
