The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise is the best and brightest that the Federation has to offer, seemingly out of place on Deep Space Nine, a dark and brooding, frontier space station. DS9 serves a dual purpose: guiding the planet Bajor in it’s efforts to join the Federation, and maintaining security around a stable wormhole. Both tasks often bring the crew of the station into conflict with the cunning and ruthless Cardassians.

But when an unknown force seizes control of the wormhole, Commander Sisko of DS9 reluctantly accepts the help of Capt. Picard and the Enterprise crew. Teamed up for the first time, both groups must put aside their personal prejudices and goals to solve a mystery that threatens the people of Bajor, the stability of the wormhole, and the security of the entire Federation.

Parts One and Four were published by DC Comics, while Two and Three were produced by Malibu.
