The future is perfect. Everything is clean and neat and organized. No longer does man have to dirty his hands with mundane tasks such as child rearing or exploration. No one except Dr. Radium, a Man of Science. Deep within his Hall of Science, he experiments with the assistance of his assistant, Roy, and his computer, Rez. Penny, a girl from the past, seeks his help in returning home, which leads to one misadventure after the other. Plucking his infant–self from the past to exploring the Planet of the Dinosaurs, nothing deters our stalwart heroes from pushing forward in the name of Science.

When Scott Saavedra created and published Dr. Radium: Man of Science beginning in 1992, little did he dream that it would only last five issues and that twelve years later they and some other Dr. Radium pieces would be collected into a graphic novel. His style and humor have combined to create a truly likable series of adventures which should have found a growing audience but apparently didn’t. What we have here is the complete collection in one volume and a wish that there had been even more of this intriguing collection of characters.
