Kiss of the Vampire

    (Brainstorm, 1997)
™ and ©1997 Brainstorm Comics, Inc.

This title is Brainstorm Comics’ entry in the Sexy Vampire genre, which has included such dubious hits as Hellina, Vamperotica, Sheila Trent: Vampire Hunter, and the classic Vampirella.

The series opens with a woman kneeling over a body with a wooden stake in its chest. When the police arrives, she flees. The carnage continues as a man is attacked by a female vampire, and a headless corpse is found on the New York City docks. Eventually, we discover the woman we encountered at the beginning is a vampire hunter named Erica. Erica, herself a vampire, has chosen to hunt her own kind instead of humans.
