This title was the second in the series of “Mr. Monster Super-Duper Specials” which reprinted 1950s stories, with a Mr. Monster framing device around them. The selection of stories throughout the specials was generally first-rate. This special had a Jerry Grandenetti Dr. Drew story, a Basil Wolverton three-pager, and a great George Evans science-fiction horror story. All in all, Mr. Monster’s High-Octane Horror is a fine installment in a notable reprint series.
