Rob Liefeld is the explosive artist who rose to stardom through Cable and X-Force at Marvel. He later took a bold step by breaking away from Marvel and joining with other famous artists to form Image Comics, which debuted with this title.

Youngblood features a large cast of characters, including Brahma, Riptide, Photon, Psi-Fire, Sentinel, Cougar, Badrock, Combat, Chapel, Battlestone, Vogue, Diehard, and Shaft. Although these characters are spectacular in their own right, it should come as no surprise that many of them bear a strong resemblance to Liefeld’s earlier creation, X-Force.

The flagship title for Image Comics, Youngblood was also the starting point for many of its titles, bringing us first appearances of Supreme, Pitt, and ShadowHawk.
