Angel may look like a beautiful little girl, but in fact she’s a robot created by the brilliant Santa Gyokyoji, a leader in the field of artificial intelligence. She’s not content to be just a robot, however, and has a plan to become human. Unfortunately, that plan involves exchanging bodies with Santa’s own daughter, Rushiha. Powerless to stop Angel in her mad plan, since the child/robot has control of nine other powerful robots he’d built, Santa is nonetheless not entirely alone in his desire to protect his daughter. He has created another robot, Faust, who just may be the most human of all his creations. Moreover, the powerful Faust (”the hero with a head of metal but a heart of gold”) would sacrifice what life he possesses to save Rushiha. Will his powers be enough against Santa’s other creations? The odds are against him.

Written and drawn by Tetsuro Ueyama, this manga series is published in black-and-white by Viz Comics.
