It’s not sexy, it’s not funny, it’s not ironic or absurd or even offensive. It’s just a lot of penis drawings garnished with porn dialogue that fails to even carry the vehicle of pornography. It’s probably supposed to be so over the top it’s funny, but honestly, this book won’t move the reader in any direction whatsoever unless you like Basil Wolverton and Robert Crumb so much that a third–generation hybrid of their style grabs your eyes. It’s nothing you’ll like or dislike so much as flip passively through, faster than you mean to, rather bored, and wonder who’s supposed to be entertained in either the production or consumption of the material. Oh, and it’s mostly about pirates.
