This Elseworlds one-shot from writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (Resurrection Man) and artist Anthony Williams (Batman: Toyman) follows the tradition of placing popular DC heroes in familiar literary settings. Here, we find Bruce Wayne taking on the Henry Jekyll role from Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, as the story explores the duality of the relationship between longtime adversaries the Batman and the Joker. Elseworlds versions of the Catwoman and Two-Face also turn up in this excellent Victorian-era tale.
