Cyber Femmes

What happens when a secret government agency turns a group of normal women into cybernetic powerhouses? You get a spoof comic that pokes fun at the mainstream comic companies, of course. In this one-shot, Thrilltoy, Heatflash, Rip’nmaul and the other Cyber Femmes face off against their deadly new enemies, the Cyber-Villainesses. Throughout the adventure, the characters endlessly spout off about the apparent lack of originality pervading the works of Marvel, DC, and Image, while at the same time praising their own uniqueness. Of course, the irony, as the characters cleverly point out through the not-so-subtle use of existing super-hero codenames, is that all of their powers and abilities are copied from the Big Three’s “real” characters.
