Assuming you’ve never seen an episode of the Simpsons or even read their comic book adventures, Bart Simpson is what Hank Ketcham’s Dennis the Menace would have been if Dennis hadn’t been so innocent in his terrorism of the neighbors. The animated adventures of Springfield’s most obnoxious child terror have entertained and frightened television viewers for decades. Now, creator Matt Groening has loosed the reigns of Chris Yambar and John Costanza to bring the reading public a series which focuses primarily on the adventures of Bart, more so than their sister title, Simpson Comics. All the usual characters eventually show up, but the primary underlying star is, of course, Bart himself.
