Poetry accompanied by black-and-white illustrations in comics form is an interesting enough idea, but in this instance that’s all it is. The verse is truly appalling and the drawings are even worse, often amounting to little more than doodles one might produce during phone conversations. Primary artist and editor Aaron Bordner occasionally troubles himself a little further, revealing a style influenced by Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. There is one page by Guy Davis, but that hardly justifies buying this mess.
