Howard the Duck (Magazine)
(Marvel, 1979-1981)
™ and ©1980 Marvel Entertainment Group
Howard the Duck was a somewhat maladjusted duck living in a world entirely populated by ducks. Then, when he was suddenly thrust into our world, he became a very maladjusted duck indeed!
The magazine series of Howard the Duck builds upon the great satire that marked the Howard the Duck comic book. At the same time, the magazine format frees up the artists to really go wild with their tales of this ornery duck. Trapped in a world he never made, Howard must cope with the wiles of winsome women, voodoo charms, a collection of nefarious villains, and life in mediocre motels.
