Death: The Time of Your Life

    (Vertigo, 1996)
™ and ©1996 DC Comics, Inc.

Donna Cavanaugh is having the time of her life. She was a singer poised on the brink of superstardom. Her concerts were sellouts, her songs were in the charts, and she was knocking ’em dead on the David Letterman show. But while she was getting on with her career, the important people in her life were being visited by a Goth-gal in black who went by the name of Death.

First it was her manager, Larry, who suffered a heart attack on the flight between appearances. Busy to—and past—the end, Larry appeared before her to bring her a warning. He said that Hazel (her lover) was important, and that Death was a person. Then he disappeared.

And before this three-issue series by Sandman’s Neil Gaiman was over, Foxglove would find exactly what Larry’s last words to her were all about.
