A short-lived show starring Chuck Connors, who had much better success with shows like The Rifleman. Connors was originally a sports star who played baseball for the Dodgers and the Cubs and basketball for the Celtics before settling down for a lengthy acting career. For Cowboy in Africa, Connors played rodeo champion Jim Sinclair who is hired to introduce modern methods at a game ranch in Kenya. The show lasted for only 26 episodes from 1967-1968 and the comic book lasted even a shorter time.
