Reprinting stories from the legendary British comic series, 2000 A.D., this title is a hyperactive romp through an ultra-violent future. Starring Judge Dredd, the final word in law enforcement officers, it also included backup stories featuring Strontium Dog, and a couple of high-tech, homicidal, joy-riding aliens named D.R. (for “Diminished Responsibility”) and Quinch.

For all its quirkiness, 2000 A.D. Monthly is a terribly funny black comedy. It comes highly recommended for anyone capable of thinking of a thorium bomb as a comic prop.
