The Kree-Skrull War Starring The Avengers

These two special editions reprint the epic Kree-Skrull War storyline from Avengers #89-97. In this far-flung epic, the Avengers are caught in the middle as the Skrulls wage war upon the Kree, their age-old enemy.

It’s hard to describe the storyline here because it encompasses so much: political intrigue on the Kree homeworld, the disbanding of the Avengers, the return of the Skrull invasion force on Earth, Captain Marvel’s divided allegiances, the Kree struggle with The Inhumans, Rick Jones’ awakened psychic powers, and much more. Suffice to say that the Kree-Skrull War is a story of truly galactic proportions.
