Cuda B.C.

    (Rebel, 1995)
™ and ©1995 Timothy B. Vigil

Cuda is a sword and sorcery character created by Tim Vigil (Faust) back in 1985. Originally published in the fanzine Access, it later had a stormy life at Silverwolf Comics before becoming a feature in Caliber Presents. Cuda was meant to run as an eight-issue serial, but only half the story was ever published. In 1995, Cuda came home to Vigil’s Rebel Studios, beginning with a preview edition (#1) and a four-issue mini-series planned to follow.

The title character himself is a gruff, callous swordsman who wears a mask and carries a mean broadsword. Vigil, who is well known for his ability to illustrate demons, brings his talents to bear here as well, turning Cuda’s world into a nightmare of monsters and sorcery.
