Based on George Lucas’ Star Wars, this five-issue series occurs five thousand years before the adventures of Luke Skywalker and his companions.

The strong-willed Empress Teta, attempting to reunite her seven worlds, has failed to defeat the pirate rebels on the last planet. Odan-Urr, a scholarly Jedi, is sent to aid the Empress in her cause. Though not a warrior, his knowledge and wisdom will help her forces achieve victory. Gav and Jori Daragon, their parents killed in the final battle, prepare to explore the far reaches of the galaxy.

The actions of these very different individuals will bring about a confrontation with the exiled Dark Jedi Knights, who have forged their own powerful empire among the Sith, a race that worships the evil Jedi as gods.
