London Night Studios has published exactly what its readers alledgedly want: another series populated with large-breasted women with big hair, simpleminded men, and one-dimensional villains. Writer Mike Shoemaker’s feeble attempts at articulate prose fall flatter than an upside-down cake. There is more sizzle than steak here and the sizzle isn’t all that hot either.

One clue to the series’ lack of quality is its blatant sales gimmicks such as multiple or variant covers for the first issue, since an unwary reader would be tempted to purchase the higher priced provocative cover or each variant cover. Caveat emptor when considering this series.
