Cheryl Blossom Goes Hollywood
(Archie, 1996-1997)
™ and ©1996 Archie Comic Publications, Inc.
Redheaded vixen Cheryl Blossom is a relative newcomer to the world of Riverdale High. Still, as this three-issue mini-series proves, she’s making quite a splash.
It all begins when Cheryl’s jealous nature boils over upon learning that Brenda, a fellow classmate won a film contest. Now all her classmates are taking turns kissing up to the new auteur in hopes that Brenda will let them star in her next film. This sets Cheryl’s mind working, and we should by all now have guessed what a dangerous thing that is.
Before long, Cheryl had decided to produce, direct, and star in her own feature as the savior of Riverdale. Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead became unwilling extras. It was supposed to be a documentary, but Cheryl decided to take no chances and gave everyone a script. Inevitably, the hard-hitting documentary turns into a comedy of errors.
