The third Raptor series takes place immediately following the events of Jurassic Park: Raptors Attack. Robert Muldoon, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Ian Malcolm, and several Indians had set out on safari in the Amazon to try to recapture the three remaining raptors. These were the survivors of the original Jurassic Park that had been aboard a plane that went down in the jungle in Jurassic Park: Raptor. Just before this new series began, one of the three Raptors had been shot, leaving only one male and female left. If either died, the species would once again be extinct.
