Series continues in Weird Science-Fantasy (E.C.) #23 (It merged with Weird Science)

In 1950, EC converted two of its old titles to feature science-fiction themes. The resulting titles, Weird Fantasy and Weird Science, became some of the most highly regarded science-fiction titles of all time.

Weird Fantasy brought readers clever and ironic stories involving time travel, rocket ships, alien invaders, and nuclear apocalypse themes. Along the way, it spun such pointed tales as “Judgment Day,” an anti-racism story set on a planet composed of red and blue robots who discriminated against each other based on the color of their exterior plating.

Weird Fantasy also included numerous Ray Bradbury adaptations, and featured classic art by Al Williamson and Frank Frazetta. Remarkable as these stories were, the title was not financially successful. It was eventually combined with Weird Science into Weird Science-Fantasy.
