In “Keires,” a university anatomy class is the seemingly innocuous backdrop to a series of murders and mutilations. Is there a connection? Three college students think there might be, but the truth is even more terrible than they feared. In “Silver Salts,” 1950s Los Angeles is the setting for another murder, where a crime photographer finds something particularly disturbing… something that takes him back to his own troubled past.

These two original stories, written and drawn by Michele Petrucci, are both tension-filled and strangely compelling. Presented in sparsely-drawn, dream-like black and white.
