Nine Volt

When aliens invade the earth, it’s up to a motley group of defenders to stop them. Sure, there are always the X-Files-like FBI and DEFSCI government-types; but when things get really serious, what’s called for is a crew of eccentric scientists and a robotic girl named Digit.

Created by Cliff Son and Anthony Chun, Nine Volt is a well-drawn blend of science-fiction thrills and deadpan humor. Although it takes several issues to really get rolling, Nine Volt provided a fair amount of juice before it ran low and was cancelled after issue #4.
